As we leave #Myanmar, I realize I have totally failed to capture the incredible, and highly underrated, food here—mainly because I’ve demolished my plate before remembering to take a picture. We’ve eaten mostly in tea houses and local buffet type restaurants to try as many types of dishes and styles as we could. From tea leaf salad to black sticky rice, chili mustard greens to grilled fish, peanut and mint rice noodles to lotus root stir fry, Burmese food is fresh, spicy, communal, and so damn good.
